This event proposes a set of two to three short roundtables on the adoption and impact of artificial intelligence across organizations, education, and work. Each roundtable will bring together three complementary perspectives: a professional manager, an academic, and a student, preferably a PhD candidate. This format is designed to connect practical experience, research-based reflection, and the viewpoint of emerging professionals who are already learning, experimenting, and preparing to work in AI-intensive environments.

The main objective is to promote an informed and multidisciplinary discussion about how AI is currently being adopted by companies and individuals, what strategies are being implemented, and which barriers still limit effective, ethical, and responsible use. The discussion will address adoption at both organizational and individual levels, including managerial practices, employee learning, productivity expectations, and the conditions needed to move from experimentation to sustainable value creation.

A second objective is to examine the implications of AI for education and professional development. The roundtables will explore how AI is reshaping curriculum design, assessment practices, student skills, lifelong learning, and the preparation of future professionals. Particular attention will be given to how educational institutions can respond to technological change while preserving critical thinking, creativity, academic integrity, and human-centered judgment.

The event will also discuss the impact of AI on employment, considering both opportunities and risks. Topics may include productivity gains, new forms of work, job transformation, reskilling needs, unequal access to AI capabilities, and the changing expectations placed on workers with different levels of qualification and responsibility.
