CryptoFriday is The Block Lisboa's flagship weekly event, running every Friday since 2017. For AI Week, we theme it around the intersection of AI and crypto. The evening opens with short, informal talks (10–15 minutes each) on AI agents, autonomous systems, and machine-to-machine interaction, followed by open networking. The format is deliberately low-friction: no long presentations, no barrier to entry, just accessible content and space to connect. CryptoFriday's role during AI Week is to be the social anchor of the week — the place where people who spent their days in workshops, hackathons, and talks actually meet one another and turn ideas into collaborations. With a Meetup community of 6,500+ members and an international, English-speaking audience, CryptoFriday reliably draws a crowd and gives AI Week strong visibility within Lisbon's crypto and Web3 community.
