The FORGe AI Hackathon 2025 is Portugal's biggest student AI hackathon taking place on November 7–8, 2025, at the AI Hub in Lisbon during Lisbon AI week.

Organized by NOVAe (the entrepreneurship club at NOVA IMS) with support from partners such as Daredata, NOVA IMS ElevenLabs, Beyond Presence, N8n, and Data Makers Fest, it will gather 100 students with backgrounds in AI, ML, data science, and software engineering. Participants will work in teams of 3–5 to tackle real challenges, supported by workshops, mentorship rounds, and partner keynotes.

The program features opening addresses, industry panels like “The Future of AI in Portugal”, prototyping and pitching workshops, and a final pitch session where five finalist teams present to a jury. Submissions are evaluated on technical quality, business viability, teamwork, and presentation, with prizes provided by partners. Meals and rest space are provided onsite.

The event creates a unique opportunity for students to gain practical experience, connect with leading companies, and showcase their talent to the Portuguese tech ecosystem ahead of Web Summit.
